インストゥルメンタルロックバンド OVUM のギタリスト / コンポーザーとして、国内外を問わず精力的な活動を展開してきた Norikazu Chiba が初のソロアルバムをリリース。
宮沢賢治の作品にインスピレーションを受けて「星」をテーマに作曲された全10曲。ギター、ストリングスカルテットを中心に、心の琴線に触れる旋律が緻密に織り重なり、ピュアで透明な世界を描いている。バンドという制約から解き放たれ、作曲に対する情熱を存分に発揮した意欲作。
生前に賢治が作詞作曲した「星めぐりの歌」のカバーでは、ボーカルとして上邨辰馬（wooderd chiarie）が参加。
